School Run

Even if he is 4 now (in a few days yay!), we still use our pram going to school and from school to home we walk. It is mostly for time control. I have more control of our time when I am using the pram.

But I notice that he gets tired easy when walking and its time to say bye to the pram. I started today being Monday. We left the house early so that we have few extra minutes to waste burn extra to walk to school.

Its an adventure, our walk to school. He would climb on things. And pose after conquering it.

He is also always on the lookout on walls. He loves to see crawling things.

He loves sees the smallest things. Like some spider. He would just say 'Hello Spider!'

If I am lucky that he is in a good mood I might get a flower.

Or a leaf =P

He noticed that I am carrying his backpack and he took it from me. Yey! Less load!

But his favorite thing that would really make him stop is>

'Look Mummy a snail!'

And he needs time to just look at them and he would talk with them. Count them. Just be in awe with their pretty shells.

Then school.  Finally =P

xx

Walking with a toddler is such an adventure, right! We rarely use our pram too, because Little Dude won’t sit in it anymore.

Every walk with a small child is an adventure to them. My kids love snails too šŸ™‚

I’m so envious of having a walk to school like this. We don’t live close enough to the pre school so we have to drive. I think I might try to leave the house a bit earlier and park further away so we can walk a bit. I love it that your little one says hello to the spider, he’s braver than me! Ali xx (ps don’t know why I’m anonymous!) x

It is so nice to take your time for a little adventure rather than making walking a chore that has to be performed really quickly! I bet he didn’t miss his pushchair!Mel #SharewithMe

Our school is so close that we don’t really have a walk to get there, just cross a road and we’re there. It is lovely though to take a stroll together and take time just to soak up all the adventures along the way #letkidsbekids

How lovely. And so nice to be reminded of the beauty of snails instead of getting cross with them for destroying my plants and vegetables! Iona@Redpeffer

Walking to and from school is half the fun! It’s great that he is having an adventure and building up his stamina for walking distances too. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
